This deck invites you into a beautiful and simple way to connect with yourself. To interact with this deck is an invitation to slow down, listen to the questions that you are currently living and to connect with the oracle that is your own heart.
The story of these cards
With my pen brush I’ve been writing words, poems and creating decks for about 15 years, mostly related to my work in the somatic-emotional field.
At first I started opening my Alexander Technique and Gestalt Therapy workshops with a few handwritten cards so everyone could pick one at the beginning. I also gave them away as an inspiration at the end of the workshop. Many people tell me they still have them at home after many years - anywhere from their fridge to their altar.
In our bigger retreats we use one word cards for the opening circles. Often people ask if they can have a few cards or the whole deck, and so I decided it’s time to have them printed.
And here it is for you now! The One Word Oracle, printed as a small edition.
Imagine holding the cards in your hands, sensing the quality of care in them. Let them support you to create space for yourself, to slow down so the wisdom of your heart may come to the foreground. About me
My heart beats for all journeys of belonging, which I feel privileged to facilitate spaces for - in vision quests, retreats, workshops, one on one sessions, songs … and now also with these cards. I work with people in times of transition and transformation, accompanying them through the fruitful and challenging liminal spaces. Psycho-somatic awareness work is what I've been breathing and living (based on Alexander-Technique, Gestalt Therapy and more) for over 2 decades.
I also have a background in music-making (classical and electronic), and writing poetry and songs. Lately I’ve been making music to accompany the poetry of Rumi (listen here). I love how all these facets of my life, including this One Word Oracle, weave together. Even though sometimes it looks to me like a wild tapestry, in my heart they are all fueled with the same fire and love for the human and more-than-human world.

Technical details
The One Word Oracle includes 77 cards, 10 x 3.8cm, off-white paper (FSC®-mix certified). The back of the card has a gold foil print on it, the words are printed in black.
The box is designed like a match box, made of 100% recycled paper by Les Naturals with a gold foil print of the title.
The booklet will come in the size of 10 x 15cm (Din A6) with about 16 pages, printed on matte paper, beautifully designed by Johanna Lippmann (https://www.johannalippmann.com).
The whole product is made in Berlin.
